City of Waco Parks
When in Waco make sure to visit the many public parks and hike and bike trails. When in nature you can always count on relaxation and unwinding. Usually there's a little exercise involved as well. Stay fit, relaxed and unwind in one of the many public parks and hike and bike trails.
There's a new one located of Highway 84 heading out away from Waco. It's called the Cottonbelt Trail. It's amazing for a hike, bike or run!
It's located atop an old rail line along Highway 84 and crosses the South Bosque River. Trail access points are located off of Harris Creek Road, Old Lorena Road and Hannah Hill Road.
This trail was built in partnership with funding from the federal government and City of Waco. Beautiful and a delight to use!
